Today, let's talk about the topic of CORN CLEANING PRINCIPLE. This matters whether we can get high quality corn end products and whether we can prolong the service life of the corn processing machine. We know that there may mix various impurities in the grains in harvesting, transporting and storage. Especially some hard impurities may damage the equipment in grain processing. Therefore, we need to clean the grains before the further processing.

There are five common corn cleaning principles:
First, principle of granularity difference.
Second, suspension speed or density difference.
Third, permeability difference.
Fourth, particle shape difference.
Fifth, intensity difference.

We can take the gravity destoner as the example to explain corn cleaning principles.
This destoner consists of material charge device,air suction adjustment device,suspended hood,sieves,vibration equipments and Bracket. It sucks air on the destoning sieve plate in stable operation,small vibration and low noise without blowing the dusts .The air flow can be easily adjusted.

The materials go into the sieve for big impurities from work bin which is baffled to uniformly scatter the materials on the sieve.The sieve vibrates to separate the big impurities from the materials .The big impurities are discharged from the outlet.Corns,mediate and small impurities fall onto another sieve through holes. The small and flat corns vibrate with rubber ball to fall onto bottom plate through the holes and go out from outlet.The other materials are graded according to their different gravities thanks to air flow from the air suction system.The grains mixed with stones fall on the destoning sieve along the first,second and third grading devices.The destoning sieve seriously search out stones and some impurities heavier than the corns and discharge them outside.The lighter impurities are discharged through air suction tunnel due to the reverse wind generated by destoning adjustment plate.The destoned materials flow to the end of sieve and go to the corn peeling machine.
